Mongolian President Meets Chinese PLA Delegation

Mongolian President Nachagyn Bagabandy and Mongolian Defense Minister Jugderdemidiin Gurragchaa met a Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) delegation separately Thursday in Ulan Bator.

Mongolian President Nachagyn Bagabandy and Mongolian Defense Minister Jugderdemidiin Gurragchaa met a Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) delegation separately Thursday in Ulan Bator.

During the meeting, Bagabandy said that promotion of a good-neighbourly relationship between China and Mongolia conforms to the interests of both peoples and is conducive to regional stability and development.

General Zhou Kunren, leader of the PLA delegation, briefed his host on reform and streamlining of the Chinese army.

The delegation arrived here Monday and was scheduled to leave for home Friday.
