ICBC Opens On-line Remittance Service

(ICBC) has opened the on-line remittance service recently.
The service started first in 11 provinces and cities, including
Beijing
,
Shanghai
,
Zhejiang
and Shenzhen and will expand to the whole country next year.
Sources say that as long as the remitter telnets his individualon-line bank (www.icbc.com.cn), enters his account details and therecipient's information, the money will be sent to the recipient through a registered account.
The ICBC sets up portfolios and audits of each on-line deal to ensure the information is genuine and complete.
