China, Netherlands Sign Economic Agreements

The visiting Netherlands Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs Annemarie Jorritsma-Lebbink Tuesday attended a ceremony for the signing of economic cooperation agreements between enterprises of China and the Netherlands.

The visiting Netherlands Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs Annemarie Jorritsma-Lebbink Tuesday attended a ceremony for the signing of economic cooperation agreements between enterprises of China and the Netherlands.

A number of agreements involving energy, finance, telecommunications, chemical and food industries were signed.

By the end of September, the number of the Netherlands companies with investments in China came to 901, bringing contracts worth 8.44 billion U.S. dollars to the country. Most of the companies have reported good profits, according to Chinese statistics.

Jorritsma led a large trade delegation to China on November 25,at the invitation of State Councilor Wu Yi.
