China Netcom (CNC) promoted commercial wideband network service Monday in Beijing to offer value-added service of telecommunication and Internet, namely CNC Connected, to 1,000 office buildings.
China Netcom (CNC) promoted commercial wideband network service Monday in Beijing to offer value-added service of telecommunication and Internet, namely CNC Connected, to 1,000 office buildings.
The project forges a specific networking for enterprises, usingIP technology, fiber optics and wireless accessing, as well as large-content wideband networking.
According to CNC president Tian Suning, the project will provide the clients with services such as special voice lines, MPLS VPN, DIA, online phone, videoconferencing, as well as IDC.
He pointed out that the wideband technology is the trend of Internet development, and also offers China a chance to make itself up to world standards in Internet service and an effective and economical way to compete in the world's economy.
CNC, founded in 1999, has set up 12,000 kilometers of fiber optic cable and a business network in 138 cities throughout China.It currently holds 770 million yuan in total assets.
