Chinese President Accepts Credentials of Five Ambassadors

Chinese President Jiang Zemin accepted credentials from five newly appointed foreign ambassadors to China at the Great Hall of the People Friday morning.

Chinese President Jiang Zemin accepted credentials from five newly appointed foreign ambassadors to China at the Great Hall of the People Friday morning.

They are Finnish Ambassador Benjamin Basin, Lithuanian Ambassador Arturas Zurauskas, Turkmenistani Ambassador Kurbanmuhamed Gadjarovich Kasymov, Mexican Ambassador Sergio Ley Lopez and Argentine Ambassador Juan Carlos Morelli.

The ambassadors arrived in Beijing on October 31, and November 1, 5, 9 and 15, respectively.
