Vietnamese Party Chief to Visit China

Nong Duc Manh, general-secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, will pay an official and goodwill visit to China soon, at the invitation of Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and president of the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Yu Hongjun, spokesman of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the announcement in Beijing on Friday.
