Visiting Deputy Attorney General of Thailand Kampree Kaocharern said that the members of his delegation have learned about Tibet's long history and brilliant culture.

He made the remarks Sunday in a meeting with Raidi, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Regional People's Congress.

He noted that this was his first visit to Tibet, and said that he felt that Tibet is very mysterious and beautiful.

He said he was delighted with this short visit, which started November 15.

Raidi said that China and Thailand are friendly neighbors, and it is of significance for the delegation to be here for exchanges with its local counterparts.

The 10-member delegation is on a working visit to China from November 9 to 20 as guests of Han Zhubin, procurator-general of the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate.

The visitors will attend the Asia-European Meeting of Law Enforcement Agencies Concerned with Child Welfare and the Conference of Attorneys-General of Asian and European Countries.
