An exhibition displaying information on puberty is currently being held at Zhongshan Park in Beijing and has attracted groups of high school and primary school students.

Jointly sponsored by the state and the municipal educational and family planning departments, the exhibition aims to help adolescents understand the physiological and psychological changes which occur in puberty.

The exhibition for the first time introduces adolescents to contraception and to preventive measures against AIDS and venereal diseases, which were previously considered forbidden areas in teenage sex education.
