Fossil Fuel-Powered Air Conditioners Exported to Malaysia

Five fossil fuel-powered air conditioners with a generating capacity of 5 million kilocalories each were shipped to Malaysia Thursday.

Five fossil fuel-powered air conditioners with a generating capacity of 5 million kilocalories each were shipped to Malaysia Thursday.

The units represent the biggest international deal made by Yuanda Air Conditioner Co., the world's largest fossil fuel-powered air conditioner manufacturer.

The air conditioners will be installed in a Malaysian government building.

Yuanda, a private company based in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, has produced about 1,000 air conditioners since itproduced its first in 1992.
