China Central Literature Publishing House recently published a book comprising the speeches on Party building delivered by President Jiang Zemin's. The 300,000-character book titled "On Party Building" represents important ideas put forward by Jiang Zemin based on the changing domestic and international situation since the Fourth Plenum of the 13th CPC Central Committee.
The 300,000-character book, titled "On Party Building", comprises 54 speeches on Party building delivered by Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), between December 1989 and September 2001. Some have never before been published.
It represents important ideas put forward by Jiang Zemin based on the changing domestic and international situation since the Fourth Plenum of the 13th CPC Central Committee.
President Jiang's speeches answered the question of what kind of Party China should build and how it should be built in the new historical period. The book incorporates and expands on Marxism, Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory.
