As the world's first import-themed national-level expo, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a perfect platform for promoting international innovation and cooperation. The new products, technologies and services emerging at the event have forcefully vitalized global collaboration.
In the past five years, China has unswervingly expanded opening-up, worked faster to bring domestic systems and rules in line with international ones, opened its door wider to the world and continued to raise the level of opening-up. The country has put into effect the foreign investment law across the board to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of foreign investors, successively cut tariffs, taken the initiative to expand imports, accelerated institutional innovations and promoted higher-standard opening-up.
