Tips:
The best season for shooting black-necked cranes is winter. In the winter, the temperature in Dashanbao is around 10 degrees below zero. And the height of the shooting spot is around 3,500 meters. So please keep warm and pay attention to the altitude reaction.
Arrangement:
D1 Take a car from Kunming to Zhaotong via Kun-Song Expressway and Song-Dai Expressway (about 6 hours.) Live in Zhaotong
D2 Set out for Dabaoshan in the morning (about 3 hours), and then go to the National Natural Reserve for black-necked cranes. You can shoot the cranes in Tiaodunhe Reservoir, then take photos of the sunset in Jigong Mountain, and return to Dabaoshan. Live in Dabaoshan.
D3 Come to the hill which stands in the back of Naoke Village, next to Dahaizi, before sunrise. Take photos of cranes flying in front of the sun. Then shoot the views in the village. In the afternoon, take pictures of cranes eating, courtshiping and playing. Return to Dabao Village in the evening. Live in Dabao Village.
D4 Return to Kunming via Zhaoyang. Live in Kunming.
