Bar Street
Defuxiang—romance hidden in the city center
Defuxiang lies on the northern side of Xiangzimiao Street, southern gate of Beilin District. Once was a part of the imperial city, Defuxiang is a now famous bar street in Xi’an. Treading on the old blue stones and passing European timber log chairs in the aroma of tea, you can take a deep breath of this romance, which is the same as that of the night when poet Li Bai was intoxicated in Chang’an. This place was previously famous for its coffee, but as bars have opened here one after another, Defuxiang has become the habitat of urbanites wandering at night.
Da Tang Tong Yi Fang—a lively bar street
Da Tang Tong Yi Fang connects Dayan Pagoda to the east and Wei’er Street to the west. With imposing buildings in ancient Chinese style on each side, Tong Yi Fang and Dayan Pagoda enhance each other’s beauty. It’s a good choice to come here after enjoying the Cyber Music Fountain in Dayan Pagoda Square. Bars like Before Sunset, Left or Right, MISS, Old Captain, Sky and Shangtang are most popular places for visitors to gather and have fun.
