In his sixties, Wu’s hair is all white. He left his hometown for Chengdu, where he decided to set up a street haircut stall to make a living. Wu charges 5 yuan for hair cut or shaving. Although there are many hair and beauty salons in the city, Wu believes that the majority of the ordinary people, after all, are reluctant to spend much money on hair cutting and shaving.
