China's top 10 archaeological discoveries in 2013 revealed (6)

The top 10 archaeological discoveries in China last year were revealed in Beijing on April 9, 2014. Among the 10 discoveries, three were made in planned excavation, and the other seven were made in rescue excavations.

Shigushan Tomb of Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century-771 BC), Baoji, northwest China’s Shaanxi province.

Wenfengta Tomb of Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770-256 BC), Suizhou, central China’s Hubei province.

Jiwanggu Tomb of Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC), Yishui, east China’s Shandong province.

Tuzishan Relics, from Warring States Period (475-221 BC) to Wu Dynasty (AD 220-280), Yiyang, central China’s Hunan province.

Laoguanshan Tomb of Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24), Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan province.

Hanguguan military pass relics of Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25-220), Luoyang, central China’s Henan province.

Weiqiao bridge relics of Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24) to Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25-220), Xi'an, northwest China’s Shaanxi province.

Tomb of Emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty (AD 581-618), Yangzhou, east China’s Jiangsu province.

Shiqu rock engravings of Tubo Kingdom (7th to 9th century), Shiqu county, southwest China’s Sichuan province.
