On February 23, the 12-hour ultra-marathon was held in the Olympic Sports Centre of Fuzhou, south China's Fujian province. Popular among marathon amateur masters, the race saw the participation of a total of 159 players from 14 provinces and municipalities, aging from 23 to 60. Sponsored by Chinese Athletics Association annually, this race is the only 12-hour ultra-marathon held on Chinese mainland.
