China's special force holds training in severe winter (2)

A special warfare unit composed of about 50 soldiers under the 39th Group Army of the People's Liberation Army maneuvered to a snow-covered region in Hailin City, northeastern China's Heilongjiang Province. The lowest temperature here was minus 40 degrees Celsius and the snow was one meter thick.

After arrival, the soldiers conducted a series of high-intensity training including ski tactical application, skiing shooting, snow camouflage, snow-covered street fighting and field survival.
