The Dhobi Ghat, with more than 150 years of history, locates in the city centre of Mumbai. It is recorded as the world's largest open-air laundromat. The washers, locally known as Dhobis, work in the open air for owners of the washing ponds to wash the clothes from Mumbai's hotels and hospitals.
