Nanjing MAC holds actual-troop confrontation exercise (7)

The Nanjing Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) organizes over 10,000 officers and men from two mechanized infantry brigades to conducted annual actual-troop independent confrontation exercise at a training range in eastern Anhui province.

Chen Fuqun, chief director of the exercise and commander of a training range of the PLA said that the exercise is an annual routine exercise organized by the Nanjing MAC. The goal of the exercise is comprehensively testing troops' systematic combat capability based on information system, such as the actual-combat battlefield environment construction, employment of new-type combat forces, application of command information system and so on under information conditions.
