Baiyi people are a branch of Yi ethnic group living in Luxi County, Honghe, southwest China's Yunnan Province. With a population of about 25,000, Baiyi people call themselves "Gepo". According to their clothes, Baiyi people can be further divided into three sub branches, namely Da baiyi, Xiao baiyi, and Pingtou baiyi. Baiyi people have their unique customs of sacrificing ancestors.
