A knife-wielding man hacked 15 people on Sunday evening in downtown Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province, local police said.
4 were killed and 11 were injured, according to the Chengdu Public Security Bureau. Among the injured was a 10-year-old girl who was severely wounded.
The attack occurred around 9:00 p.m., and the suspect, 41-year-old, has been captured, the police said.
