A women lifeguard team was set up in Yuxi Grand Canyon, central China’s Henan province on July 25, 2013. The canyon, which attracts many people to come to enjoy the beautiful sceneries and drifting, can be a dangerous with rip tides, dangerous sharp rocks, and crashing waves. The drifting lifeguard's job is to ensure that people safely enjoy their time in and around the water. The women lifeguard team can also help avoid embarrassment caused by man lifeguards to women tourists.
