China's top political adviser calls for green cooperation with Denmark (3)

While meeting with Danish Parliament Speaker Mogens Lykketoft, Yu said bilateral economic and trade cooperation has achieved great progress and contributed to both countries' economic and social development.

The CPPCC is ready to boost exchanges with the Danish parliament and public so as to broaden consensus and help advance the relations between the two countries.

Lykketoft, for his part, said Denmark is willing to beef up cooperation with China in various fields and the Danish parliament stands ready to increase communication with the Chinese, side so as to cement mutual understanding and the bilateral cooperation.

He added that boosting the bilateral collaboration in green technology and sustainable development not only serves the interests of both countries but conduces to the world's sustainable development.

Denmark is the last leg of Yu's current trip, which has taken him to Finland and Sweden.
