"Zhou Dance", or the dance of twelve Chinese zodiacs, is a traditional dance of Baima Tibetan ethnic people in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Sichuan Province.
In 2006, "Zhou Dance" was inscribed on the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
The dance of twelve Chinese zodiacs was created by the Baima Tibetan people by imitating animal's movements. It is seen as a nature worship and good wish for a harmonious relationship between human and nature.
