China will pour 2.03 billion yuan (about 328 million US dollars) in maintaining the Jiayu Pass, also including the construction of a world culture heritage inspection center and a heritage protection and display project. Built in 1372, the Jiayu Pass also served as a vital passage on the ancient Silk Road. It was listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1987. (Xinhua/Lian Zhenxiang)
