Over 3,000 reporters have registered for the coverage of the First Session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the First Session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), taking place from March 3 to 17. More than 800 of the reporters have flown in from overseas, according to Xinhua statistics.
