Radar engineer Wang Xiaomo wins China's top science award (4)

Wang Xiaomo (2nd R) is awarded the Special Award for Progress in Science and Technology of the 2010 State Scientific and Technological Award in Beijing, capital of China, Jan. 14, 2011. Wang, 74, is a Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) member who has been engaged in the research and design of radar for the past 30 years. He is regarded as "father" of airborne warning and control systems in China. (Xinhua)
