The center offers medical treatment as well as consultation, prevention, testing and research services related to HIV/AIDS.

Now over 100 HIV/AIDS patients receive treatment at the care center, and over 2,000 other HIV/AIDS patients with less severe illness get free medicine regularly from the center.

Yunnan Province has logged more than 100,000 cases of HIV/AIDS by the end of October this year, according to the Yunnan Provincial AIDS Prevention Bureau. Yunnan reports more HIV/AIDS cases than any other in China. The province began taking records of HIV/AIDS cases in the 1980s.
