Belarus embassy to China opens microblog on People's Daily Online (5)

BEIJING, Nov. 20 (People’s Daily Online) -- An opening ceremony of the official microblog of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to China is held on Nov. 19, 2012 at People’s Daily Online which marks the formal launch of the official microblog of the Embassy of Belarus to China.

Deputy President of People’s Daily Online Tang Weihong delivered a speech, saying that 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Belarus. In the past 20 years, China and Belarus have developed steady bilateral relations and friendly exchanges and cooperation have been expanded continually. “We believe that through this platform Chinese people will know more about Belarus,” Tang said.

Minister of the Embassy of Belarus to China Vadim Senyuta lauded People’s Daily Online for opening microblog of the Embassy of Belarus in China and said that the embassy will publish news about Belarus and China-Belarus cooperation thus allowing Chinese users to learn more about Belarus.
