Mount Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) in east China's Anhui province has been called the number one mountain on Earth. Or maybe even beyond Earth - Mount Huangshan was a major influence on director David Cameron when he was creating the floating mountains in his movie "Avatar." (The Chinese mountains of Zhangjiajie were also an influence.)

The mountain range's unique formations and the abundance of cedar and pine trees which grow on it, make Huangshan a unique destination, helping it to earn its 5A scenic area ranking.
