Construction of key projects in Xiongan New Area, north China’s Hebei province, is proceeding without disruption while epidemic prevention and control efforts are being made amid the novel coronavirus epidemic.
Construction of major projects in Xiongan New Area, including a business service center, an experimental zone, and phase 1 of a fast road project, has been proceeding smoothly.
The business service center covers an area of around 21 hectares, and includes facilities such as an exhibition center, business office, hotel, apartment, and kindergarten.
According to credible sources, the convention and exhibition center is designed to be a venue showcasing the scientific and technological achievements of Xiongan New Area, while the business office area will mainly house the first batch of units transferred from Beijing as a result of efforts to transfer businesses that do not serve a function in the capital.
The apartments in the business center will also serve efforts to transfer Beijing’s non-capital functions. Using the “experts apartment + serviced apartment” model, the area will be able to provide comprehensive services and supporting facilities for various talents, including single people and those with families.
