This is the prison where Bogu Kailai is currently serving her term. Many people would want to know what the environment is like inside of the jail. Some pictures here give our readers a peek inside of this prison compound.

Bunk beds with standard size of mattresses are seen in each cell, with each mattress 1.92m long and 90cm wide. Each cell lives 8 prisoners. And the compound is divided into several smaller zones. Each zone has an outdoor space, where prisoners can do exercises. According to the guards, prisoners are allowed to go there every day before their dinner at 4pm.

The prison also offers reading rooms, where prisoners may go there and read prior to their bedtime. Other facilities include a clinic for prisoners who have fallen ill. Since the majority of the prisoners are seniors, the clinic is one important facility here, the guards said. Moreover, prisoners may spend time playing different music instruments in a music room.
