Restaurant Decorates Itself with 50,000 Fake Fish in NE China

Photos taken on April 27, 2016 show that a restaurant is decorated with 50,000 fake fish hanging on its exterior in Changchun city, northeast China’s Jilin province. The fish are made of polyurethane material, the same as that used for steering wheels.

Although the stunt could be justified in that the signature dishes of the restaurant are fish, some citizens complain that the new decoration is so much less friendly for people with trypophobia.
