A recent report shows that financing for China's new energy industries amounted to approximately $110.5 billion in 2015, ranking first in the world. In addition, key indicators such as PV (photovoltaic) newly installed capacity, wind power and new energy vehicles are all rapidly increasing in China.

The report was co-authored by a research team organized by Hanergy Holding Group and the New Energy Chamber of Commerce under the All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce. The report was released in Beijing on April 20.

In 2015, China's total PV installed capacity reached 50 GW, surpassing Germany for the first time to be number one in the world. Meanwhile, China continues to maintain its growth in the wind power market, ranking first in the world with 26.2 GW of newly installed capacity.

Sales of new energy vehicles reached 331,000 units in 2015, 3.4 times as many as in 2014. This positive growth propels China past the U.S. to become the world's largest producer of new energy vehicles.

In 2015, China, Japan and the U.S. continued to dominate the global PV market with 17 GW, 13.5 GW and 8 GW respectively of newly installed capacity in 2015.
