

People’s Daily headquarters wins the 2015-2016 A’Design Award under the architecture, building and structure category, as the winners are revealed on April 16, 2016.

The A’Design Award acknowledges the best and most influential designs from all over the world each year. This year, People’s Daily HQ office becomes the only awarded building from mainland China under the category of architecture.

Designed by the Zhou Qi Studio from Southeast University, People’s Daily HQ office sits in the central business district of China’s capital city. It is “creative, contemporary and modern,” and also reflects “culture and tradition”, said A’Design Award in its description of the design piece.
