A small “tornado” swept through an elementary school playground on its sports day in Guazhou, northwest China’s Gansu province, on April 20. A third grade student was swallowed in the cyclone and sent to mid-air before falling headlong down on the ground. The kid got minor injury on the back of his head and was rushed to the hospital. He is reportedly in stable condition now.
