

Two grooms’ teams launched a prolonged fight with each other due to the result of neither team was willing to make way for the other on a narrow road in south China’s Guangxi on the morning of Sunday.

Both teams were on their way to pick up brides before the brawl took place. Confrontation began when the two parties met on a narrow road going to the opposite directions. Based on their traditional belief, it is considered as bad luck to encounter another wedding party on the day of one’s wedding.

The fight broke out with people throwing fireworks and explosive objects at each other, while others hitting with rods. The fight did not end until dawn when the police came and stopped it.
