76.9 per cent of 3,000 participants think that the workers nurtured by Chinese education show no big differences to those educated in the Western style, according to the latest survey led by a Chinese newspaper.

Among those who support Chinese education, 13.2 per cent of interviewees think that workers cultivated by Chinese education hold first-rate competition ability, 20.3 per cent of people think that Chinese education can give equal abilities to workers as provided by Western education and 46.1 per cent of supporters think that there is little difference between Chinese and Western education, according to a report jointly conducted by Social Research Center of China Youth Daily and Wenjuan.com, which involved 3,000 interviewees.

However, 20.4 per cent of interviewees hold the view that there are big differences between Chinese and Western education.

Workers who are cultivated in foreign enterprises and their career systems can also contribute to domestic enterprises after they leave the foreign companies and their experience in foreign enterprises expand international horizons, according to a headhunter recruiting for staff to work in the Internet sector. The headhunter said that Chinese staff have better anti-pressure abilities than foreigners.

Furthermore, foreigners have advantages in high-end professional technological positions, according to the headhunter.

As for education styles, according to the report, 49.8 per cent of interviewees prefer Western style education, 18.4 per cent vote for Chinese and 31.7 per cent support a combination of Western and Chinese styles.

Although most of interviewees think Western education is efficient for training people for the work, 51.4 per cent of them admitted that Western education overloads the importance of the effects of capital, which impedes social movement and aggravates the consolidation of social classes.
