China’s initiation of the international relations norm with the core of a win-win cooperation concept can build a community of destiny that establishes new international values.

The win-win possibility lies in the non-zero-sum nature of international relations. Win-win cooperation pursues "positive-sum game" thinking.

The affirmation stands in stark contrast to the Western countries' long-term support for the "win-or-lose", "winner-take-all" and "zero-sum" mentality.

The human destiny community offers the maximum number of interests among countries. The era of interests shows a symblosis, where the destiny community is an optimistic vision.

Beijing's proposal to build a common destiny embodies its long-term vision to form a harmonious world that combines the interests of the Chinese with the common interests of global citizens, to expand on common ground and to achieve prosperity for everyone.

Chinese President Xi Jinping declared at the United Nations General Assembly that we have to adhere to open development that benefits all parties.

We respect each other's developing choices, share development experiences and reach the same success by different routes, which allow all people to share in its development fruits.

China's promotion of the Belt and Road Initiatives is a new attempt of development guided by new international relations values. The principles of "co-discussion, co-construction and sharing" offer "win-win", "all-win" and "mutual benefit" purposes.

The Belt and Road Initiatives start from the infrastructure building, to create conditions for all-round development of trade and investment, and to build a destiny community, benefiting the long-term development of China and countries along the routes.

The Belt and Road Initiatives are designed to create "three communities"-- the political mutual trust and economic integration, cultural inclusion of community interests, and the community of common destiny and responsibility. The initiatives would cover Asia, Europe and Africa.

The national interests along the routes would be intertwined with each other in terms of the politics, economy and security. Only when related countries form communities of interests, responsibility and destiny, can they achieve a win-win purpose.

To echo the Belt and Road Initiatives, China has established the Silk Road Fund, while advocated for the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

Such institutions can help meet the funding needs for infrastructure projects countries in the region, while boosting China's investment and infrastructure construction, pushing for RMB internationalization and to support the Belt and Road initiatives.
