Heze, October 20 (People’s Daily Online) – “Characteristic Chinese Heze Pavilion” in Taobao was launched at the first Shandong Rural E-commerce Summit which kicked off on Monday in Heze, east China’s Shandong province.
The pavilion is a consumer portal platform created jointly by Heze government and Taobao, and its O2O (Online to Office) experience center in Tianhua electronic agglomeration park occupies 6,400 square meters, and can accommodate more than 200 brands. “Characteristic Chinese Heze Pavilion” will help Heze to pool and promote its agricultural product and tourism resources.

Rural e-commerce has huge potentials, said Wang Hongping, an economist with the Commerce Department of Shandong province. As a fast growing field, e-commerce can contribute to new business model and entrepreneurship, Wang added. Heze had more than 25,000 e-commerce enterprises and more than 218,000 people had been engaged in e-commerce by the end of this September. The online operation of the pavilion is expected to promote the development of rural e-commerce in the city.
Tianhua electronic agglomeration park is an e-commerce industry eco-city. The first-stage project of the park covers 500 mu and includes “Characteristic Chinese Heze Pavilion” O2O (Online to Office) experience center, electrical business incubation center, logistics distribution center and so on. As the largest e-commerce industry park of four provinces of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, and Anhui, the park plays an important role in promoting the development of Heze e-commerce.
