On the afternoon of September 17, 2015, Lv Yongjie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. (or Bright Food for short), met with Masami Iijima, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and his entourage. Some other officials from Bright Food also attended the meeting, including Ge Junjie, Vice President of Bright Food, and directors of Bright Food's industry division and Bright Dairy.

Chairman Lv gave a warm welcome to President Iijima and his entourage, and introduced them to the mission of Bright Food and its business operations; Chairman Lv said that there exists a lot of room for cooperation with Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and hoped that both companies would try to achieve a win-win situation by cooperating with each other to overcome any shortcomings and giving full play to each other's advantages. Chairman Lv suggested that both sides engage in closer, more effective exchanges in the future.

President Iijima said that Mitsui & Co., Ltd. had entered into a strategic agreement with Bright Food in 2011, and that a fairly sound foundation had already been laid for the cooperation between the two companies; President Iijima then added that Mitsui & Co., Ltd. had long viewed Bright Food as an important partner, and expressed the hope that both sides would engage in closer win-win cooperation and build a closer relationship in the future.
