A fisherman caught a huge and colorful lobster earlier this month in Ningbo, East China’s Zhejiang province, according to Ningbo Daily.

Elder fisherman say this is an ornate spiny lobster, but it is rare to see one as big as this.

Weighing around 1.85 kilograms, the lobster has a light blue body of 55 centimeters and purple blue tentacles of 102 centimeters.

Its legs are of black and white strips, and it is embellished by some yellow speckles.

The price of it can be dear. According to the local seafood shop owner, an ornate spiny lobster of this size can sell from 700 to 800 yuan (around 109-125 USD) per kilogram.

The fisherman, Li Junfang, is now waiting. He wishes that someone would buy his lobster and donate it to the aquarium, so that such a phenomenon will not end up in someone’s belly.

Netizens do not buy into Li's philanthropic heart. They line up to ask with a sneer, “Why don’t you donate it yourself? You can’t enjoy money and a charitable name at the same time.”
