Catfish come in all varieties, shapes and sizes. Some are big and some small. A man in China caught an 18kg catfish in the Yangtze River on the early morning on Sunday.
“I have gone fishing for many years. It is my first time to catch such a big fish,” said the man surnamed Pan, who lives in Wanzhou Beishan.
According to Pan, he went fishing with his friends in the early morning. The fish grabbed the hook at around 3:30 a.m. The big catfish had struggled to get rid of the hook for over 90 minutes but it failed at last. Finally, Mr. Pan dragged it ashore at around 5 a.m.
The 1.3 meters long catfish has attracted many neighbors to a fish shop of Pan’s friend. Many neighbors who had heard the news rushed to the fish shop to see it.
