A 15-year-old girl wearing a bull head mask has been begging on the streets of Hefei, east China’s Anhui province for three months to collect money to treat her paralyzed dad, Anhui Business News reported.

Hao Dongdong’s dad had a spine fracture and became paralyzed over a year ago and her mom walked away three months ago because she could not endure more hardships caused by her husband’s paralysis and the huge debts piled up for the treatment.

This 15 year old girl had to quit school and became the caretaker of the family, looking after his dad as well as his younger brothers and sister. She said she would endure any hardships to make money to treat her dad.

She decided to go on the streets to beg, but she doesn't know how to . On the first day of her begging life, she was so scared that she could not hear anything just bury her head waiting for people to give money. But she was very disappointed.

Then she decided to write on a cardboard saying her sad family story. This worked a little bit better. But sometimes, people don’t believe her stories and treat her like a liar. She had to endure a lot to continue her begging life to support the family.

One day, a lady gave her a card asking her to serve as a “bar girl” in a hotel. She knew what it means, so she rejected to sell her soul, choosing to continue to beg .

Another day, a warm-hearted lady gave her a bull head mask asking her to use this mask to draw more attention and sympathy. She thought it a good idea. So she put on the mask and it worked better.

Now she said she can make 200-300 yuan ($31- $47) a day. Although not enough but at least can make ends meet.

She told Aihui Business News reporter that she hopes one day she can make enough money by begging this way to pay all the debts for paying her dad’s medical expenses and eventually she can go back to school again.
