Two years ago, one of us was still a young boy reading by Lake Weiming, and the other was an idle scholar enjoying the moonlight beside the lotus pond.

But now, one of us has given up the chance to study abroad, and the other has given up a well-paid and steady job in a state-owned enterprise. We have chosen to start our own business.

We are Huang Lijun and Zhu Baoju. We graduated from Peking University and Tsinghua University.

During the past two years, we have had two business projects. The first one has been taken over by Meituan, the second has attracted a round of financing. The company has achieved fast-track development.

For the past two years we have been involved in the catering business, going deep into every link, from materials purchasing to queuing and ordering, in order to identify and analyze every pain point. Aiming to understand these pain points, we would frequently wait until eleven or twelve at night to reach our conclusions and verify them with the owners of other restaurants.

In October 2014, after careful market research, the TianPingPai was born. It was soon being tracked by the capital market, and obtained angel financing from a top source of venture capital.

Our original entrepreneurial intention was to set up an impartial trade platform for restaurants and suppliers, and transform a traditional industry by means of Mobile Internet Technology..

In fact, it is never easy for college students to start their own business. Without experience and connections, we have only our diligence, intelligence, down to earth approach and a refusal to yield in spite of reverses.

Nowadays, Premier Li Keqiang, senior alumnus of Peking University, calls for "Public Business Innovation", and encourages college students to start their own business. We should follow the examples of our forebears from Peking University, to "dare to be the world's first", bearing in mind the adage that "Boasting will harm the country, while practice benefits it", and pursuing the "Chinese Dream". So we have chosen to integrate ourselves with farmers.

We feel that all the effort is worth it. We will arm them with Mobile Internet Technology, which will greatly improve their efficiency in buying and selling vegetables and change the working and living habits of thousands of farmers, making their business much easier.
