Several actors have posted online a physical examination chart showing the results of their recent drug tests.

Liu Guanxiang and Luo Yunxi, who are both shooting the comedy "Guys and a Kid," posted the charts on their Weibo accounts and said it's the first time such things have happened to them in their career.

Zhang Junhan, producer of the film, says they require the same tests from all other cast and crew members as well.

The move is thought to have come after China's media watchdog issued bans on stars who are involved with drugs or prostitution.

China's State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television said recent cases had set a bad example for the country's youth.

Celebrities involved with drug use include Jaycee Chan, son of Jackie Chan, and most recently actor Wang Xuebing.

Celebrities who break the law should not be invited to appear in programmes, and transmission of their work should be suspended.

The ban also covers online media, film and publishing.
