PARIS, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Spanish King Felipe VI, who is on state visit to France, announced after a meeting with French President Francois Hollande in Elysee, that he canceled his visit due to the plane crash on Tuesday in southern France.
According to King Felipe VI, there were no signs of survivors from the ill-fated jet crash in southern France.
An Airbus 320 of the German low-cost airline Germanwings crashed Tuesday around 1100 local time (1000 GMT) in southern France, with 144 passengers and 6 crew members on board.
The plane was flying from Barcelona in Spain to Dusseldorf in Germany, when the crash occurred.
