BEIJING, March 1-- With only two days before China's political season begins, members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference have arrived in Beijing.

More than 2000 members are expected to check in to eight hotels. There is one suggestion box in every hotel to collect ideas and suggestions during the CPPCC session. Meanwhile, the general office of the CPPCC National Committee has set up an inspection team for the first time, to supervise the meeting.

The session sites are closed to the public to promote efficiency and security. To reduce expenses and avoid wasting public funds, this year there will be no free bottled water. The meeting site will provide free hot water. The general office has called on all members not to waste food.

And for the first time, every CPPCC member can download a communication app, that can be accessed by inputting their mobile phone number and a verification code. Using the app, they can see information about other members and communicate with them.

"If the CPPCC members or staff members discover anything that does not meet the requirements, they can give their advice and suggestions to us. We will open this sugestion-box everyday, and collect all suggestions and ideas for the inspection team." said Li Xiuzhen, inspector of Secretariat of CPPCC session.
