SINGAPORE, Feb. 18 -- Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is going home on Wednesday morning two days after a surgery to remove his prostate gland, said PM Lee on his Social networking service account.

He post a message that he had just met his doctors and he was home for Chinese New Year.

PM Lee had a video chat with ministers attending a Cabinet meeting Tuesday morning, with several of them posting "Get well soon" messages.

Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam and his wife also visited PM Lee at the Singapore General Hospital on Tuesday.

PM Lee was diagnosed with prostate cancer last month and underwent surgery Monday. His doctor said the operation went smoothly, with the prime minister expected to recover fully.
