BEIJING, Jan. 28 -- Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao on Wednesday attended the third high-level dialogue meeting between the ruling parties of China and Sudan.
The Sudan National Congress Party (NCP) delegation was led by its deputy chairman Ibrahim Ghandour, who is also a Sudanese presidential assistant.
Stressing that China will never change its policy of promoting China-Sudan ties, Li and Ibrahim both agreed that both sides must consolidate mutual political trust; deepen governance exchange; and enhance international and regional affairs coordination, as this would benefit China-Sudan and China-Africa ties.
